상품 설명

Your adventure begins at the C.M.E. de Hamuta in Pirae, before you travel by vehicle to the viewpoint, located at an altitude of about 600 meters. This is where your ascent to the first shelter on Mount Aorai truly begins.

Your first steps will immerse you in an unspoiled natural environment. The trail begins with a series of four hills that allow you to gradually gain altitude. This first part already requires a certain amount of effort, but each ascent is rewarded by the changing landscapes and the first glimpses of Tahiti's mountain scenery.

You will then continue along a more even and winding trail toward the Hamuta Pass, located at an altitude of about 900 meters. As you climb, your guide will accompany you and introduce you to the vegetation typical of Tahiti's higher altitudes.

After the pass, the ascent becomes longer and more gradual. The trail gradually leads you up to the heights of Mount Aorai, until you reach a magnificent avenue lined with Caribbean pines. This section has a special atmosphere and marks the approach to the first shelter, perched at an altitude of about 1,400 meters.

When the weather conditions are favorable, the heights offer magnificent panoramas of Mount Marau, the Diadème and the city of Papeete. On particularly clear days, you can even see the island of Tetiaroa in the distance. These moments are an opportunity to take a break, snap photos, and fully enjoy the beauty of the landscape.

Once you reach the first shelter, you'll take time to eat and recover after the ascent. You can enjoy this stunning setting before leisurely beginning the descent.

The return is along the same route, gradually descending back to the Belvedere. This hiking tour thus offers you a true immersion in the heights of Tahiti, combining physical exertion, botanical discovery and spectacular views of the island.
