We meet early in the morning well rested in Downtown Boquete. Start at the lowest point of BQT right in the center of this beautiful valley. We drive along the Caldera River all the way up to the sector called Bajo Mono. On our way up, we find unique, traditional small villages with some very old houses before reaching the agricultural area.
There, we gain deeper insight into the cultivation of fruits and vegetables and see many diverse medicinal plants and beautiful local flowers. We follow the road until we reach our destination, the Pipeline Trail. There, we finally enter this beautiful hiking trail in Barú National Park. We go deep into the woods and see many different things, including unique birds, butterflies, insects, huge trees, and, of course, a huge waterfall at the end.
The round trip will take about four to five hours in total. Afterwards we drive back to downtown BQT.
