Day 1: AIRPORT – ANTANANARIVO
Upon arrival at Ivato International Airport, our team will welcome you and transfer you to your carefully selected hotel.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: ANTANANARIVO – AMBOSITRA (290 km / approx. 6 hrs)
After breakfast, departure for Ambositra, the famous arts and crafts city of the central highlands. Along the way, enjoy lush landscapes, mountain ranges, and beautiful river valleys.

Stop in Ambatolampy to visit a traditional aluminum cookware workshop.
Arrival in Antsirabe, where you can explore the city by rickshaw, the best way to discover its cultural and historical heritage. Visit embroidery workshops, gemstone cutting, and zebu horn craftsmanship.

Lunch in Antsirabe.
Continue to Ambositra, capital of Zafimaniry woodcraft. Opportunity to visit artisan workshops and shops.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: AMBOSITRA – ANTOETRA – SAKAIVO
(15 km paved road + 25 km track / approx. 2 hrs)

Early departure to Antoetra, heart of the Zafimaniry culture, known for its wood architecture and craftsmanship.
Start a 4-hour hike through eucalyptus and mimosa forests to reach Sakaivo village.
Picnic lunch in nature.
Dinner and overnight with a local family.

Day 4: SAKAIVO – ANTOETRA – FIANARANTSOA
(25 km track + 136 km paved road)

6-hour hike through rice fields and scenic landscapes back to Antoetra.
Visit a Zafimaniry workshop.
Drive to Fianarantsoa.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: FIANARANTSOA – SAHAMBAVY – AMBALAVAO
Immersion in Betsileo daily life.
Canoe trip on the Matsiatra River to Liamena waterfall.
Hike through tea plantations and visit a tea factory.
Transfer to Ambalavao.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: AMBALAVAO – ANDRINGITRA (NAMOLY – ANDRIAMPOTSY)
Visit Antemoro paper workshop and zebu market (Wednesdays).
Drive to Andringitra National Park (46 km track).
4-hour hike to camp (2,050 m altitude).
Overnight in bivouac.

Day 7: ANDRIAMPOTSY – ANTARANOMBY
Hike to Pic Boby (2,658 m), Madagascar’s second highest peak.
Continue trekking across plateau and palm forest.
Overnight in bivouac.

Day 8: ANTARANOMBY – TSARANORO VALLEY - RANOHIRA
4-hour descent to Tsaranoro Valley.
Lunch at Camp Catta.
Drive to Ranohira via the Horombe plateau.
Sunset at Isalo Window.
Overnight at the hotel.

Days 9–10: ISALO NATIONAL PARK – TULEAR - IFATY
Explore Isalo National Park: canyons, natural pools, waterfalls, and lemurs.
Overnight camping in Namaza Canyon.
Next day: drive to Tulear via Ilakaka (sapphire town).
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11: IFATY - TULEAR – ANTANANARIVO
Return to Tulear and flight to Antananarivo.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 12: ANTANANARIVO - AIRPORT
Transfer to Ivato International Airport according to your flight schedule.
