상품 설명
Luxembourg is famous for its banks and castles — but its true wealth was forged in fire, iron, and human endurance ⚒️. This exclusive half-day tour reveals how miners and metallurgists shaped one of Europe’s richest nations long before finance took over.
Your journey begins with pickup from your hotel in Luxembourg City, then heads south to Belval, the modern “City of Science” built on the foundations of the country’s last blast furnaces. Climb Blast Furnace A for sweeping views over the former steelworks and discover how this colossal site powered Europe’s industrial boom .
Depending on the day, the route continues in two ways. On Sundays, explore the National Mining Museum in Rumelange, where a mine train takes you underground into real iron-ore tunnels. On other days, visit the impressive National Miners’ Monument in Kayl, a powerful and often overlooked tribute to the generations whose hard labor built Luxembourg’s prosperity.
Back in the capital, see the historic ARBED Headquarters, once the command center of Luxembourg’s steel empire, before ending in scenic Grund.
A journey through steel, sweat, and vision — the true story of how Luxembourg forged its prosperity.
Additional Info • Operates all year (weather-dependent) • Best day for full underground mine experience: Sunday • Not suitable for guests with mobility issues (stairs at Belval) • Comfortable walking shoes recommended
