2-Day Uyuni Salt Flats Tour with Bus from La Paz｜Bolivia

Day 1
Go to the Bus Office at 8:30 PM for check-in; then the coach from La Paz to Uyuni departs at 9:00 PM.

Day 2
Arrival in the city of Uyuni at 7:30 AM.
Free time to buy water and other things for your trip.
(We have free time because all companies and tourist attractions are available from 10:30 AM.)
Then head to our office, 1 block from the bus station.

Start your excursion at 10:30 with a trip to the Uyuni Salt Flats. The first stop is the eerie "Train Cemetery", located on the outskirts of Uyuni.
Then, visit the small settlement of Colchani (where the salt miners' workshops are located next to the salt flats). There, you'll also find crafts made of salt and textile art made with llama and alpaca wool. They are great souvenirs to take home. Take pictures as you cruise through the vast white expanse of salt, wade through the "Ojos de Agua Salada", and also visit: a hotel made entirely of salt that is currently used as a museum-restaurant, Flags of the World (where you can bring your own and put it there for free), and a Dakar Rally monument.

After a morning of exploration, lunch will be served en route. After that, you'll have time to hike to the top of Incahuasi Island to see giant cacti and rock formations made of petrified coral.
Important: Due to the rainy season (January to March), it is not possible to access Incahuasi Island.

Next, take your time to organize your group to take fun photos that distort perspective and proportion on the blinding white surface of the salt flat. By playing with the scene, you're sure to get fun and memorable photos!

Finally, head to a wide-open area to enjoy the unique experience of watching a beautiful sunset over the salt flat, spreading its dazzling colors across the Salar de Uyuni, and enjoy it with a glass of wine.

Return from your excursion to Uyuni between 7:15 PM and 7:45 PM.
