Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive at Cusco

With a relaxed and happy mood, you will be taking a flight to the southern city of Cusco, Peru! The tour guide will raise a sign to pick up at the airport, and guests who are close to the flight will be arranged to take the same bus to the hotel. Three meals at your own expense.

Free pick-up airport on the first day of your tour: Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport (CUZ)

Free pick-up time on the first day of your tour: 12:00, 16:00 and 18:00. This time is the time for the guests to meet with our staff after picking up their luggage at the baggage claim area of the airline they are taking.

Day 2

Sacred Valley

Tucked between Cusco and Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley is a truly special place. A slightly warmer climate, the gentle presence of the Andes Mountains, a sprinkling of ancient fortresses, and villages steeped in age-old traditions is what you’ll experience on a tour to the Inca heartland. First, we will head to the Pisac Market, which is one of the most famous food centers in Cusco. It is centuries old, since the settlers used to meet there during the colonial era. It offers different edible and artisan products every day. Then go to the Parque Arqueológico de Pisac to experience the ancient Inca civilization. In the afternoon, we will visit Ollantaytambo Ruins. Ollantaytambo is considered a masterpiece of Inca architecture. The main section includes 17 imposing terraces leading up to a fortress. At the top there is an impressive 10-niche wall and Sun Gate, as well as a monolithic Sun Temple consisting of six enormous pink granite boulders.

Pisac Market → Parque Arqueológico de Pisac → Ollantaytambo Ruins → Hotel

Day 3

Sacred Valley Free Day Or participate in activities at your own expense

Today you can freely travel in the Sacred Valley or choose to participate in activities at your own expense (choose 1 option). The options are considered with 2 travelers. Please take note all options are subject to availability.

Option 1: Maras+Moray+Chinchero One Day Tour

After breakfast, we will first discover Moray, the enigmatic Inca ruin in the beautiful Sacred Valley. Moray is one of the famous Inca ruins near Cusco. It is composed of three groups of circular terraces (muyus in Quechua) that descend 490 feet (150 meters) from the highest terrace to the lowest. Then we will head to the Salineras de Maras, which is made up of more than 3,000 natural salt wells near the town of Maras. Following, we will visit Chinchero. It is one of the most representative towns of Cusco in general. Known for its archeology and its crafts. After the visit, we will return to the hotel.

Moray

Moray is one of the famous Inca ruins near Cusco. It is composed of three groups of circular terraces (muyus in Quechua) that descend 490 feet (150 meters) from the highest terrace to the lowest. Each muyu has 12 levels of terraces with the largest depression having a diameter of 600-feet. Surrounded by the towering Andes mountains, looking into the depths of these man-made craters will fill you with awe and wonder. 

Maras salt mines

The Maras Salt Mines are more than 6,000 salts ponds carved by the Incas. In the distance, these resemble a snow layer. It is an unparalleled view where the pools have various shades of white or earthy brown. The precious Peruvian pink salt is one of the treasures that ancient ancestral cultures have left us. Although the salt flats themselves were created by man, the water that is channeled into these pools comes from a natural underground spring. This underground spring is constantly and quietly carrying the water so that it fills the various ponds with the precious pink salt.

Option 2: Willoq community One Day Tour

In the morning, we will depart from the hotel and head to the Willoq community. It brings tourists closer to the daily life of a high Andean community of Ollantaytambo in the department of Cusco. After arriving in Willoq, you will have the opportunity to wear unique clothing. Then, you will appreciate the weaving process and the shearing of wool. At noon, you will enjoy a local specialty lunch. After lunch, we will be back to Ollantaytambo Ruins for a visit. After the visit, we will return to the hotel.

Day 4

Sacred Valley【Bus】Machu Picchu【Bus】Cusco

Depart from the hotel, we will take the bus to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, we will take the observation train to Machu Picchu. This is a famous scenic train route that runs along the turbulent Urubamba River, with panoramic skylights providing a panoramic view of the Sacred Valley. After arriving at the station, we will walk to the bus stop and take a public bus under the guidance of the guide to Machu Picchu. We will visit this well preserved pre–Columbian Inca ruins. After visiting Machu Picchu, we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo and then take the bus to Cusco.

Itinerary:

Take the train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes (Include train tickets) → Machu Picchu (180mins, include ticket) → Take the train back to Ollantaytambo → Cusco

Ollantaytambo-Machu Picchu Observation Train Time: 07:22-08:48

Machu Picchu-Ollantaytambo Observation Train Time: 16:12-17:50

The above train times are for reference only. Due to the high availability and limited resources, the time will be adjusted according to the actual situation.
The allowed luggage for the train is 8 kilograms per person.

2. Machu Picchu tickets are non-refundable and non-changeable once successfully booked. A fee of $100 USD per person will apply for any itinerary changes.

3. Depending on actual Machu Picchu ticket availability, the sequence of activities and hotel arrangements may be adjusted while keeping all itinerary content unchanged.

Day 5

Cusco Free Day Or participate in activities at your own expense

Today you can freely travel in Cusco or choose to participate in activities at your own expense.  The optional tours are considered with 2 travelers, please take note all optional are subject to availability.

Option 1: Cusco walking & Shopping (3 hours)

Start a 3-hour hike in Cusco and explore the mysteries of this city! Our tour guide will take you to the main square, where the center is a fountain surrounded by beautiful gardens and lawns. To the north of the square is the Cusco Cathedral, a 16th century Baroque style church that showcases a blend of Spanish and Inca cultures. To the west of the square is the Monastery of Kangkagall, one of the important religious centers of the Inca Empire. Then, you will walk to the famous "Twelve Angled Stone". It is an archeological artifact in Cusco, Peru. It was part of a stone wall of an Inca palace, and is considered to be a national heritage object. Our next stop is the Maximo Lola Art Museum. This is Peru's first museum with a theme of modern textile art. Continue to the San Brass district, which is a very popular community. Finally, we will go to a textile shop to admire the excellent works of the locals. After visit, the tour guide will take you back to the hotel. Or you can go to a traditional restaurant for lunch (at your own expense) and the tour guide will tell you how to return to the hotel alone.

Option 2: Cooking Class (4 hours)

We will take you to the culinary studio located in the city center of Cusco, where you will have a "hands-on" class, you will learn to use representative ingredients to cook nutritious and healthy dishes under the guidance of professional Peruvian chefs. 

Option 3: Cusco tour and nearby ruins (Half day)

Today you can start a half-day tour of the main square in Cusco. You can admire the city's cathedral under the guidance of the tour guide. It was built between 1560 and 1664 and was made of red granite from the Inca fortress of Sakayewaman. Then you will continue to the Coricancha and the Convento de Santo Domingo. The monastery is built in the most important Inca temple dedicated to the sun, with walls covered in gold foil. After exploring Cusco, you can also explore four ruins in the outskirts of Cusco, such as Sacsayhuamán, whose temple walls are made of huge stones in a serrated shape; we will also visit the Qenko and Tambo Machay. After the visit, we will return to the hotel.

Option 4: Trekking to Rainbow Mountain (Full day), The hiking during the trip takes about 4-4.5 hours and the altitude is high. Please decide whether you can participate based on your actual physical condition.

The rainbow mountain, known as the 7-color mountain, mountain colors, or Vinicunca mountain, is a magical place where its roads were part of the ancient Quechua culture, and used to exchange products (barter) along with the other Quechuas regions, has now become a natural wonder resembling the rainbow mountain in China.

You will leave Cusco early in the morning to the south of the city, we will pass Urcos, Checacupe until arriving at the community of Pitumarca (2:00 hrs. of trip approx.) Where we will have breakfast which will take about 40 minutes approx.

After a short briefing with the guide, you will continue our journey taking our mobility towards the starting point of the trek (1:00 hrs. approx.). You will begin our walk at the foot of the Ausangate snowfall, an ascent of 2:30 hrs. approximately until arriving at the highest point where you can appreciate the rainbow mountain, during this trip you will have the opportunity to see the different varieties of South American camelids as well as its own flora of the place. Arriving at the mountain of colors you will have time to take photographs of this puzzling place for about 40 minutes.

Later you continue with our descent hike of approximately 2 hours, arriving at the point where you start walking. Then, we will wait and regroup to go to a restaurant in Pitumarca where you’ll try out some delicious lunch.

At a suitable time, we will return to Cusco.

Included: boxed breakfast, private transportation, English speaking guide, entrance fee to Rainbow Mountain, lunch.

Day 6

Cusco【Airplane】Home

Today will be the end of our unforgettable and pleasant journey! You can book a suitable flight to leave the Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport (CUZ) according to your needs. Our staff only provides one drop-off service from the hotel at 8:00 in the morning. If a guest has an early flight and needs to leave the hotel before 8 o'clock for the airport, please provide your own transportation to the airport.

Value-added Item: Amazon Rainforest 3-day and 2-night Tour (stay overnight in the rainforest lodge)

After the trip, you can go to Puerto Maldonado to enter the Amazon rainforest at your own expens. You will be able to take a visit to the Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica and Tambopata National Reserve. Have a romantic encounter with the treetop kingdom on the Inkaterra Canopy Walkway and go to Anaconda for hiking and observing the various wildlife.

Know Before You Book

1. Customer under 18 years old MUST be accompanied by at least one adult. A guardian traveling with children must provide proof of custody or notarized parental authorization for travel. An adult accompanying a child who is neither a parent nor guard- ian of the child should have written permission from a parent or guardian to accompany the child across the border, including the name and contact information of the parent or guardian. In consideration of the guest safety, pregnant women are only allowed to join the tour if pregnant for 24 weeks or less by the end of the trip.

2. Please be sure to provide accurate and complete information upon booking. This includes name, gender, valid documents (passport, visa etc.), valid contact information (preferably a mobile phone), accurate flight information, tour location, etc., This helps to avoid any errors upon the reservation because errors affect travel. Any losses due to inaccurate or invalid information will be at your own cost and the company will not be held responsible.

3. Hotels have different room types, such as a King/Queen Size bed or two Double/Full Size twin beds. The maximum number of people who can legally stay in a room is 2 to 4 people. In addition, each hotel has a different method of charging the deposit, which requires the cooperation of the guests according to regulations. Please be noticed that most of the deposit collection and refund is handled by credit card. JUPITER LEGEND Corporation and Ctour Holiday guarantee the number of rooms for guests but does not guarantee the specific room type and location. Hotel check-in time is usually after 15:00.

4. This tour does not accept any City Pass or your own tickets for any of the attractions. Tour attraction admission charges and meal expenses are subject to change at any time without notification. Any purchased ticket cannot be refunded for lower prices.

5. JUPITER LEGEND Corporation and Ctour Holiday have the right to make appropriate adjustments to the itinerary under the conditions of facilitating the operation for the tour group. This, however, will not reduce the items that should be included in the itinerary.

6. During the actual trip, the tour guide or driver has the right to appropriately adjust the tour sequence, stay time or assembly time of scenic spots according to the weather, traffic, and other conditions to ensure the smooth progress of the trip.

7. If any scenic spots are temporarily closed, including on certain holidays, the tour guide will make appropriate adjustments based on the actual situation, which may include viewing from the outside or substituting with another attraction to maintain the richness of the itinerary. Please note that the opening hours and capacity limits of certain attractions and national parks may change from time to time due to health concerns. Should such changes affect the itinerary, they will be considered force majeure. We appreciate your understanding.

8. Children under the age of 8 require a booster seat in order to participate in the tour group. JUPITER LEGEND Corporation and Ctour Holiday provide the rental service for $10.00/person/day. Please make a request when booking the itinerary so that we may have the booster seat ready in advance. Please understand that the violations and fines are borne by the guests themselves. There is no need for a booster seat for bus travel on the day of travel, and the fee can be refunded to the guest.

9. Normal health conditions are required to participate and enjoy our full itineraries. Contact us for specific policies or information regarding passengers with disabilities and the handicapped who do need to provide advance notification to make a reservation. JUPITER LEGEND Corporation and Ctour Holiday do not guarantee a wheelchair lift-equipped bus and/or seating availability to disabled passengers without prior notification and approval.

10. Guests are required to bring their own relevant documents and materials required for entry or cross-border travel. Whether they can enter or leave the country is subject to the decision of the customs of each country. The inability to enter the country is a force majeure factor, and the paid tour fee will not be refunded.

11. We may alter these terms and conditions from time to time and post the new version on our agents’ website. It is your responsibility to check the [Terms & Conditions] on their website regularly and prior to making a reservation. Unless specifically stated otherwise herein or required by law, JUPITER LEGEND Corporation shall not be liable for any consequential, compensatory, indirect, incidental or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the performance of its obligations under these terms and conditions.

12. Due to the continuous rise in fuel prices leading to a sharp increase in vehicle operating costs, effective for all tours departing on May 18, 2026, a transportation surcharge of USD 5 per person per day (US side), CAD 5 per person per day (Canadian side) will be applied to our escorted tour products. The fee will be collected by tour guides during the trip.

Notes:

1)No fuel surcharge will be charged on the day of airport pick-up or take-off when no any other itinerary is scheduled.

2)The surcharge is waived on days without transportation services. For instance, guests taking resort shuttles to theme parks in Florida tours, or full-day train itineraries with no tour guide or coach services included.

3)For US-Canada cross-border tours, fuel surcharges will be charged based on actual travel regions: USD 5 per person per day in the US, and CAD 5 per person per day in Canada.

  • 2. JUPITER LEGEND Corporation and Ctour Holiday reserve the right, when operating conditions require, transferring passengers from one vehicle to another en route.

  • 3. The following documents are recommended to make your check-in process smooth: A valid photo ID is required to board the bus; We recommend you bring a copy of the email confirmation to board the bus.

  • 4. This product is a group activity. If you choose to leave the group, please inform in advance, and obtain the consent of the tour guide. You need to sign the departure agreement form and the unfinished part will be regarded as your own abandonment. The group fee will not be refunded.

  • 5. Gift items in the itinerary that cannot be given away due to force majeure factors such as traffic and weather conditions or personal reasons may be subject to change. Please understand that the fees will not be refunded.

  • 6. Smoking is prohibited aboard the bus in accordance with the law and prohibited in most hotel rooms. Customers are responsible for any penalty charged by the hotel in a non-smoking room at least $250 per night.

  • 7. Pets and animals are not allowed on the vehicle.

  • 8. Luggage is subject to inspection when crossing international borders. You will be asked to declare any items subject to duty upon crossing the border. JUPITER LEGEND Corporation and Ctour Holiday are not responsible for any luggage crossing international borders. Passengers must claim all luggage at the border crossing point before proceeding. No luggage is allowed across the border unless claimed by a passenger. JUPITER LEGEND Corporation and Ctour Holiday will not provide free transportation to a passenger denied entry across an international border.

  • 9. Only for products with airport pick-up service: only one pick-up service within the free pick-up time range is provided for each order. If it is impossible to arrange due to weather and flight delay, etc., please pay for your own transportation costs.
