Begin your day with a convenient pickup from your hotel in downtown Guilin. Travel to Mopan Mountain Pier, where your Chinese speaking driver will hand you your boat tickets. Board the vessel in an orderly manner according to the berth, boat number, and seat number indicated on your ticket.
Set off on a scenic cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo, covering a total waterway distance of about 65 kilometers. The cruise lasts approximately 4 hours and is divided into three highlight sections.
First, cruise from the pier to Yangdi Village. From this point onward, enter the core area of the "South China Karst," a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. Famous attractions such as "Bat Greeting the Guests," "Dragons Playing in the Water," and "Guan'yan Cave" will unfold one after another.
Next, cruise from Yangdi Village to Xingping Ancient Town. This is the diamond-class golden waterway of the entire journey, where every turn brings a new vista. Finally, cruise from Xingping to Yangshuo Pier. After being captivated by the breathtaking landscapes of the first two sections for over two hours, the scenery gradually softens into a pastoral idyll. Lush rural fields unfold along both banks, where you may spot water buffalo playing, cormorants fishing, and children splashing in the river—a serene tableau of harmony between humans and nature will accompany you all the way to the destination.
