Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province in China, is renowned for its rich cultural heritage, delicious food, relax life style and adorable pandas. Our one-day sightseeing tour can provide a perfect balance of its highlights.A private vehicle will pick up from your hotel at 7:30 am and half hour drive to Chengdu Panda Breeding, the best place to see pandas in a natural setting.Morning is ideal as pandas are most active during feeding time. Spend 3 hours with our knowledgeable guide to see adorable baby pandas, playful juveniles, and adult pandas. Explore the red panda enclosure and learn about panda conservation efforts. After Panda Center, go to Wenshu Monastery, a peaceful Buddhist temple with serene gardens, stunning architecture, and intricate carvings. Enjoy a quiet stroll and observe local devotees practicing their faith. Lunch at monastery vegetarian restaurant or nearby local snack restaurant, Dandan noodle, Long Wonton are recommended. After lunch head for Kuan & Zhai Lane, a historic area with traditional courtyards and shops, shop for souvenirs, and experience the blend of old and modern Chengdu. The last stop is People’s Park, a relaxing spot to experience Chengdu’s laid-back tea culture, watch locals play mahjong or engage in tai chi while enjoying tea at traditional Heming Teahouse.
