11:00 AM: After the Temple of Heaven, board the vehicle to Yonghe Lama Temple. 11:30 AM: Guided tour of Yonghe Lama Temple – the most prestigious Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Beijing, blending Han and Tibetan architectural styles. Admire the 18-meter-tall Maitreya Buddha carved from a single sandalwood tree. 12:30 PM: Savor an authentic Peking Duck banquet at a classic restaurant, a perfect culinary interlude. 01:30 PM: Depart by vehicle to the Summer Palace. 02:30 PM: Guided tour of the Summer Palace – a UNESCO-listed imperial garden known as the "Museum of Royal Gardens."
