Let's step away from the skyscrapers of Shenzhen. Over the last 30 years Shenzhen has transformed itself from a small village to a modern city. Many of its' history have been destroyed given way to modern structures . Fortunately, there are still hidden historical gems for us to cherish. Only 60 minute MTR ride from Luohu, We can still able to explore Shenzhen ancient treasures.

⭐ Explore Hakka ancient residence, (Hakka people migranted from central China to Shenzhen area approximately 500 years ago) it is one of the largest Ancient housing complex in China. The complex has over 300 rooms and occupies over 25000 sq meters.
It was built by the Luo Clan 200 years ago.
We can still see its original layouts with furniture. And the historic kitchen are still intact and ready for cooking. The classrooms when kids studied Confucianism. Come and see how ordinary people lived in imperial China.

⭐We will visit the tranquil environment of a 1000year old Buddhist Temple.
There are many structures comprise to form this monastery. A Pagoda dedicated to a Lady god. Come and make a wish where the locals pray for their luck and fortunes.

⭐Enjoy the breathtaking view of Longgang river. A natural river the runs into the Shenzhen river(river that separates between HongKong and Shenzhen). It was one of the most polluted river in Shenzhen. In the last decade ,it was rehabilitated back to its natural state by creating wetland to filter out the pollution.
