Know Before You Go: 3.The Mutianyu Great Wall offers both western and eastern parts for you to choose from. Cable car is recommended when exploring the western part. Toboggan is recommended when exploring the eastern part. The cable car or toboggan fee is 140rmb per person which's not included in your tour price, if you take both side cable car and Toboggan then the price will be 280rmb per person, you need to purchase it on your own . If you want to take it, on the day of departure, you can tell the tour guide he can help you buy it.
Know Before You Go: 4. Every Monday, the city's attractions, such as the Forbidden City the National Museum, are closed, so the Great Wall will be more crowded than usual. If you have enough time, you can avoid Monday.
