This was one of the best day trips I had during my time in Kyushu! The itinerary was well planned, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. My favorite stop was Kusasenri. The wide open grasslands, fresh mountain air, and incredible views made it feel like a completely different world. Watching horses peacefully grazing with the dramatic volcanic landscape in the background was simply unforgettable. It was the perfect place to slow down, take photos, and appreciate the natural beauty of Japan. Kumamoto Castle was another highlight. It's an impressive landmark with a rich history, and I really enjoyed walking around the grounds and learning more about the region.
