Heading north of the city, 45 km from the port, we will arrive at Cempoala, a place of "twenty waters" that gives its meaning for being surrounded by rivers in the region, in addition to being one of the important archaeological zones of the state, it has several buildings that Today they are of great architectural beauty such as the Templo Mayor, Temple of the Chimneys, Circle of the Gladiators, Temple of the Caritas, the temple of God Wind and the Cross, in addition to having a site museum.
