Starting at the “Arrival of the Railroad” mural and proceeding to the Rialto Theatre’s alley, history and art become intertwined. Be amazed by the “Empowered Woman” and smile at the 60s-ish HUB mural. The Mexican-Latin influence is everywhere, especially with “La Guitarrista” and “Vergriss.”
See one mural celebrating “El Tour de Tucson” and another honoring PETA. “That’s a Wrap”—Tucson’s move to beautify downtown utility boxes—is evident as are brilliantly colored store-commissioned murals. Mosey through the iconic “Rock the Spot” parking lot and say hello to Linda.
The grand finale is grand indeed–the Three Cowboys, who look out from the Court building and pay homage to Tucson rodeo culture.
