This experience takes you from Athens to one of Attica’s leading wineries for a unique and competitive blind wine tasting challenge. It’s a fast, fun, and social way to explore Greek wine — perfect for friends, small groups, and travelers looking for something different.
Your driver picks you up from your hotel in central Athens and takes you to the Mesogeia wine region, just 35–40 minutes from the city. At the winery, a wine expert welcomes you and explains how blind tasting works. You’ll receive six wine samples, each covered and numbered. Your goal: identify the grape variety, region, or style using only your senses.
The challenge is designed for beginners and wine lovers alike. You’ll learn how to evaluate aroma, acidity, structure, and flavor without seeing the label. The atmosphere is relaxed, interactive, and ideal for groups who enjoy a bit of friendly competition.
At the end of the tasting, the scores are revealed and the winner receives a small prize from the winery. You’ll also have time to explore the winery grounds, ask questions, and purchase bottles to take home.
After the experience, your driver brings you back to your hotel in Athens. Total duration is approximately 4 hours door‑to‑door.
This is a minimum 4‑person experience due to the winery’s requirements.
