商品説明
Forget stale market stops and rehearsed sales pitches. This is a market-day-only experience built around one of Athens' liveliest and most authentic weekly farmers' markets (laiki agora) — where locals, not tour groups, do their weekly shopping.
In a small group of up to 6 people, walk the market stall by stall with a small folding table and tasting kit in hand, stopping right at the source: herbs still fragrant from the mountains, lemons plucked that morning, extra virgin olive oil pressed by small producers, sun-ripened tomatoes, wild greens, local honey, and — season permitting — freshly pressed pomegranate juice.
Along the way, hear the stories behind what you're tasting: why olive oil is Athens' liquid gold (and how the city got its name from it), what makes a real Greek tomato taste different from a supermarket one, and how humble dishes like gemista and horta were born from making the most of what the land gave. This isn't a walk-and-watch tour — it's hands-on tasting, right at the stalls, guided by people who know Greek food from the inside.
