商品説明
There is a time in Saint-Paul-de-Vence that no one really knows: the time when the first rays of the sun caress the ramparts, when the village is still asleep, and when the golden light turns the stone into gold. This is when Pierre takes you on an experience reserved for a select few. Meet at Le Café de la Place at 7 am. Pierre will greet you with a croissant and a fresh pain au chocolat from the village bakery, a bottle of water, and a welcome message. We set off without delay, as the morning light doesn't last long. You first climb to the Chapelle Saint-Charles for an exceptional panorama: Saint-Paul-de-Vence bathed in the golden light of the sunrise, the Baous turning pink in the distance, and the Mediterranean awakening. This is the time for your best photos, without a single tourist in the frame. You then descend back to the medieval heart, passing by the Colombe d'Or, the inn where Picasso and Matisse paid their bills with paintings. The Porte de Vence and its Lacan cannon welcome you at the entrance to the 16th-century fortified city commissioned by Francis I. Along the ramparts, Pierre shows you the view of the Baous and the cemetery where Marc Chagall is buried. A quieter moment, away from the crowds, with only the sound of birds singing and the wind in the cypress trees. Return via Rue Grande, with its artists' galleries and contemporary sculptures. You'll discover the Grande Fontaine from 1850, the Donjon, and the House of Jacques Prévert, in a village that is just beginning to wake up. Pierre ends the walk at the Bastion du Dauphin with a small gift from Provence to take with you. You leave before the first coaches arrive, with the best light and the best photos of your trip to the Côte d'Azur.
