We meet our English speaking Driver-Guide at the Port, and and take a 90 minute drive to the Omaha Beach area. We visit the the Omaha Beach centre - entrance is included, as is the excellent Guided tour which lasts 45 minutes. During the course of the day we also visit: · Omaha Beach · The United States Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer · The Pointe Du Hoc · St Mere Eglise · Brecourt Manor · Utah Beach A break is taken at lunch time, where you will have an opportunity to visit a local restaurant, or café, or just grab a baguette! Meals and Refreshments are not included. We leave this area of Normandy late afternoon for our return drive to the Port of Le Havre, arriving back to the ship in plenty of time prior to the departure sailing.
