商品説明
Discover North Carolina’s coast from the water on this 2.5-hour guided kayak tour through the Intracoastal waterways near Wilmington, sheltered by Masonboro Island—one of the largest undisturbed barrier islands on the southern North Carolina coast. With your guide, set out across calm stretches and more dynamic areas closer to the open Atlantic, where changing tides and conditions can make each trip feel different.
After meeting at the launch site, you’ll get a 5–7 minute safety and skills demonstration before heading out. Then paddle along scenic channels and into salt marsh estuaries, keeping an eye out for coastal wildlife along the way. Depending on conditions, you may experience current and wind chop, and you’ll cross a busy boat channel where boat wake is possible—making this tour best suited to confident paddlers.
Your kayak, paddle, and life vest are included, and your guide (Mike or a team member) is on hand with instruction and local insight throughout the tour. Return to the launch point with a new perspective on Wilmington’s waterways and the wild coastline just beyond the barrier island.
