Join a 7-day shoemaking workshop in Seattle and learn the centuries-old process of leather shoemaking. Discover how to make a classic full-leather bespoke Oxford or Derby shoe using a traditional 220-step process.
Learn to design, make patterns, cut, dye, and sew the upper. Follow the steps to lasting, soling, and heeling the shoe. Learn the best method for construction and finishing, as well as an introduction to the world of leather, leather dyes, and industry-specific tools and techniques.
Leave with a $2,200 shoe and a great sense of pride and accomplishment. The class is geared toward those who have an interest in DIY design, fashion design, leathercraft, shoemaking, and everyone else who just wants to know how to make everything.
The workshop takes place in Leolo's workshop set in Seattle's iconic Pike Place Market.
Workshop runs from 9am - 5pm for 6 consecutive days. Each workshop has only 4 spaces available.
