Join us for an exciting hands-on crabbing experience with stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge! In this 3.5-hour guided session, you'll learn how to catch crab using a fishing pole and Durasnare crab snares. We’ll teach you how to cast, bait, reel, and identify different crab species such as Dungeness and Red Rock Crab. You’ll also learn how to properly measure your catch, clean it, and prepare it for cooking.

Fishing license is NOT required for this activity! ⚠️ Note: Dungeness Crabs are illegal to retain at this location as San Francisco Bay is a protected estuary for Dungeness Crabs, however, Rock Crabs can be retained all year round.

Meeting Location: Torpedo Wharf, Long Ave, San Francisco, CA 94129

All equipment is provided—just bring your sense of adventure! At the end of the trip, enjoy a delicious taste of fresh red rock crab with a view. Perfect for beginners, families, or anyone looking to connect with the coastal outdoors.
