商品説明
A Wyoming Winter Classic Grand Teton in winter is one of the most productive wildlife viewing environments in North America. This private safari pairs expert wildlife tracking with a horse-drawn sleigh ride into the heart of the National Elk Refuge, where thousands of elk winter within easy viewing distance.
What to Expect Your naturalist guide will pick you up directly from your Jackson Hole lodging in a heated expedition vehicle. Search for bald eagles, bison, moose, coyote, elk, and mule deer as your guide reads the day's conditions and adapts the route to where wildlife is active.
Midway through your day, transition to a horse-drawn sleigh for a ride directly into a wintering elk herd on the National Elk Refuge, surrounded by views of the snow-capped Teton Range.
What You Might See Elk gather by the thousands on the National Elk Refuge in winter, often visible from the sleigh itself. Depending on the day, you may also see bison, moose, coyotes, bald eagles, and mule deer. Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed — that's what makes them extraordinary.
Add to Your Day Upgrade to a guided snowshoe adventure or add a soak at Astoria Hot Springs.

Know Before You Go: Dress in Layers: Winter mornings can be extreme, and the sleigh portion is open-air. Wear a warm base layer, insulated mid-layer, and a windproof/waterproof outer shell, plus insulated boots, warm gloves, and a hat. Sunglasses help with snow glare on the Refuge.
Know Before You Go: The Sleigh Ride: This is a public, shared horse-drawn sleigh into the elk herd. A private upgrade may be available with advance notice. Dress warmly even if the rest of your day is spent in our heated vehicle.
Know Before You Go: Stay Hydrated: Cold, dry air is dehydrating. We provide water on the vehicle; a reusable bottle is welcome.
Know Before You Go: Wildlife is Wild: Sightings are never guaranteed. Winter pushes elk and other wildlife to lower, open ground, giving your guide the best possible chance of finding them.
Know Before You Go: Road & Weather: Winter tours depend on park road and weather conditions. Your guide may adjust the route or timing for safety, and we'll reach out ahead of time if changes are needed.
