Discover a side of Maui most visitors never get to experience on the Maui E-Mountain Bike Adventure, a guided ride through a beautiful private ranch overlooking South Maui.
The experience is designed for different riding abilities, so you don't need to worry about choosing the right difficulty level when booking. Everyone books the same adventure, and once you arrive at the ranch, your guides take care of the rest.
Start with a welcome, safety briefing, protective gear fitting, and a short test ride. This allows your guides to see how comfortable you are on the e-mountain bike and select the route and terrain that best match your riding ability.
More confident riders can start directly from base camp and enjoy more challenging climbs and technical sections. Guests who prefer an easier start can take a short ride up the ranch in our vehicle and begin on gentler terrain.
Traveling with a family or group with different riding abilities? No problem. The group can easily be divided at the beginning, with stronger riders starting from base camp while the others are driven higher into the ranch. Everyone meets at the first scenic lookout and continues the adventure together.
Ride approximately 15 km (9 miles) of cross-country terrain, including natural singletrack trails winding through the ranch. The e-mountain bikes make the climbs fun and manageable while still allowing experienced riders to work as hard as they want.
As you climb higher into the ranch, enjoy wide-open landscapes and beautiful views over South Maui and the Pacific Ocean. Because the ride takes place on private ranch land, the experience feels peaceful and uncrowded, far from Maui's busy tourist areas.
Along the way, stop to take in the scenery, catch your breath, take photos, and enjoy a break with water and local banana bread.
After the ride, return to base camp to cool off and relax before transportation back to the designated drop-off location.
