商品説明
Step into an authentic artisan workshop and discover the fascinating world of glass bead making, a tradition recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage since 2020.
This is not a hands-on workshop, but a guided experience designed to bring you closer to a centuries-old craft still alive today. In a small group of up to 8 participants (minimum 2), you will observe the artisan at work and learn about tools, techniques, and gestures behind each unique piece of glass jewel.
At the heart of the experience is a live demonstration. Watch how a simple glass rod is transformed through fire into a delicate bead. Molten glass is shaped around steel rods, gradually taking form through precise, skilled movements passed down through generations. As the process unfolds, you will see how decoration brings each piece to life.
The artisan creates fine glass threads to draw detailed patterns, layering colors and transparencies to achieve depth and complexity inspired by traditional motifs. A crucial phase is cooling: beads must rest slowly in a controlled environment to prevent thermal shock. Once stabilized, they are cleaned and refined, ready to become unique jewelry pieces.
More than a demonstration, this experience invites you to slow down and appreciate the value of craftsmanship, time, and precision. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of a tradition that is often hidden behind finished objects.
After the demonstration, you can explore the workshop, where the finished creations are displayed. Here, you can directly connect what you have seen with the pieces you may choose to take home.
Suitable for curious travelers, design lovers, and anyone interested in authentic local culture, this intimate experience offers a meaningful and visually captivating encounter with living tradition. A rare opportunity to experience the art of Venetian glassmaking in the heart of Verona
