商品説明
Monasteries, abbeys, hermitages, and convents: alongside religious and cultural knowledge, in the most suitable areas of Italy, many of them also maintain a vineyard. In Italy, with its wealth of historic monasteries and architectural treasures, there are many religious buildings where wine production has never stopped or where the tradition has been rediscovered, as in San Francesco della Vigna, the oldest urban vineyard in Venice. A unique setting for mysticism and culture, an architectural complex that houses the Church – one of the most beautiful examples of Renaissance architecture in the Venetian Lagoon, the work of Sansovino and Palladio – the Library – which preserves and catalogs the Venetian book heritage of the Province of S. Antonio dei Frati Minori – and the Cloisters – one of which is dedicated to the cultivation of aromatic herbs, one to the collection of rainwater for irrigation, and two to vineyards, which have been personally cared for by the agronomists of Santa Margherita since 2019. The visit will take place in Venice.
