Delve into the rich history of the Venetian Republic, discovering how it rose to dominate trade between East and West, as you explore the charming sestieri and admire their time-worn palazzi. Enjoy leisure time to wander through the labyrinthine streets, perhaps indulging in a classic gondola ride, before soaking in the magical evening ambiance at the Rialto Bridge.
In the afternoon (from 1 PM to 4:25 PM), get some free time to relax and explore Venice on your own. Go off the beaten path for a more authentic look at everyday life in the city, or just sit back and people-watch in one of the many cafés of Piazza San Marco. Have a gondola trip or lagoon boat trip during this time if booked with our guide on bus.
At 4:25 PM, meet your guide in front of Hotel Gabrielli (Riva degli Schiavoni, 4110, 30122 Venezia VE). Your return journey will begin with a scenic motorboat ride along the Giudecca Canal to the bus parking area. From there, you will depart at approximately 5:15 PM aboard a comfortable coach for your transfer back to Lake Garda, with estimated drop-offs between 7:30 PM and 8:30 PM.
