Departing from the Port of Giardini Naxos, you will admire Taormina from a privileged perspective. Instead of disembarking at the usual crowded wharves, our boat will take you to the Porticciolo della Saja, once a landing place reserved for nobles and fishermen from the village of Villagonia.
From the Sirens to the Castle on the Platform Accompanied by the author Rodolfo, you will walk along the mouth of the Sirina Stream. Here, where freshwater meets the Ionian Sea, you will discover why the ancients spoke of the "Song of the Sirens" and how this natural border marks the passage to the magic of Taormina. We will then go up to what is called "the most beautiful station in Europe".
A temple of Art Nouveau and Cinema It is not just a train station, but the rebirth of the ancient Castello di San Martino. We will enter the frescoed halls to decipher the secret codes of the artist Salvatore Gregorietti and discover the esoteric symbols hidden between the wood and wrought iron. You'll relive the cinematic atmosphere of Francis Ford Coppola and hear the history of the kings and Kaisers who walked the legendary Platform 1.
