Pescasseroli: Hiking Tour in the Pescasseroli Forests｜Italy

Discover the winter magic of Abruzzo National Park on an exciting walk through the Pescasseroli Forest. This centuries-old beech forest, one of the most picturesque in the park, offers fairytale-like landscapes thanks to the unique shapes of its pollarded beech trees. The forest is home to the Marsican brown bear, the wolf, deer, and roe deer, making the hike even more fascinating.

The loop route, approximately 6 kilometers long with a 150-meter elevation gain, starts at the Vallecupa riding stable and winds through trails, clearings, and natural springs. Your local guide will accompany you as you discover the history of the beech trees, the park's wildlife, and the secrets of this enchanting place, which was also the setting for the film “The Fox and the Little Girl.”

The hike is easy and suitable for everyone, making it ideal for families and groups of friends. There are two sessions: morning and afternoon. Four-legged friends are welcome!
