商品説明
Enter a real pottery workshop in the heart of Sciacca and get ready to discover this ancient art not only by watching it, but by experiencing it with your own hands.
You will be welcomed by a local potter. Watch their movements, listen to the stories of the workshop, and discover how earth, water, hands, and fire give life to the ceramics that have been a hallmark of Sciacca for centuries.
Then it's your turn.
Sink your hands into the clay and discover its texture. With the craftsman's guidance, you'll learn how to shape it, experimenting with the ancient traditional manual techniques. No experience is needed: what matters is curiosity and the pleasure of creating.
After the shape comes the color. You can experiment with decorating and glazing an already fired object, drawing inspiration from the colors, patterns, and imagery of the local pottery tradition.
During the experience, you will not only encounter an artisanal technique, but a person, their knowledge, and the place where this knowledge lives on every day.
In the end, you will look at Sciacca with different eyes: through the material you have touched, the colors you have chosen, the stories you have heard, and the object you have shaped.
