商品説明
Our guided tour starts in front of the German Chancellery opposite the Swiss Embassy. The best way to reach the meeting point is on foot from the main train station in 5 minutes. Park benches invite you to relax before the tour begins. In a place where literally radical changes have taken place over the last two centuries, there are supposed to be answers to the following questions, among others: Why is the Swiss Embassy standing here all alone? What was it like here during the German division? Where was the Victory Column in the past? What was planned here during the Nazi dictatorship? Where is the Chancellor's office and how do you get from there to the Reichstag building? Our next walk takes you along the most important buildings of the Parliament. You will look at and into those places where laws are created in the Bundestag. And in the process, you will learn: how Parliament works, what Berliners mean by a "senior civil service career," where the summer interviews with top politicians take place, and why members of parliament need the Research Service. You will stroll along the riverside promenade of the Spree, crossing the horizon of the former Berlin Wall twice. After the walk, we will take you into the Reichstag building to the Plenary Chamber. Now you are a guest at the German Bundestag. All offerings by the Deutscher Bundestag are free of charge. You will then attend a lecture in the plenary hall that introduces the Reichstag building and the work of the members of parliament, and finally climb up to the roof with the members of parliament. Here you can borrow an audio guide for your walking tour in the glass dome free of charge. Different languages are available. You decide how long you stay – you have time to marvel until late in the evening. You can leave the building individually whenever you want. The guided tour takes place exclusively in the parliamentary district (in the outdoor area) in German and requires a good command of German! The tour takes place exclusively in German.
