Alternative Berlin: the years of the Wall and the squat houses.｜Germany

Walking tour of Kreuzberg along the route of the Wall on the West Berlin side.
During the years of the division, hundreds of young artists and immigrants from all over the world moved here, right next to the Wall. Together, we will explore the scene of the houses that were occupied at the time, and we will visit the streets where the residents of West Berlin lived just a few meters from the "death-strip" and the patrols of GDR soldiers. The experience will end at the Kreuzberg indoor market, a multi-ethnic gathering place much loved by locals, which still offers unique food and wine experiences today!
