商品説明
The disenfranchisement of Jews began immediately after the transfer of power in 1933. They were forced out of professional and social life and deprived of their civil rights.
On this tour of the Bavarian Quarter, particular attention is paid to the year 1938: The architect and General Building Inspector Albert Speer, who was tasked with redesigning the capital Berlin, was looking for new housing to implement his plans. The tour focuses on what this meant for the city's Jewish families. The tour also makes it clear how, after these beginnings in the 1930s, the subsequent deportations and murders took place.
The tour also commemorates the lives of individual Jewish women and men, such as the poet Gertrud Kolmar and the athlete Lilli Henoch.
