Experience a typical Bavarian start to the day at the traditional Riegele Wirtshaus in Augsburg. This breakfast seminar introduces you to the world of Weißwurst and wheat beer – a ritual that is firmly rooted in Bavaria. Together with other explorers, you will immerse yourself in the history and secrets of these specialties and, step by step, become a connoisseur of wheat beer and white sausage.
To start, a classic breakfast awaits you with two freshly cooked Weißwurst sausages, an oven-fresh pretzel, and sweet mustard. You will also taste a freshly tapped Riegele wheat beer – optionally also as a light or non-alcoholic version. While you enjoy your meal, you will learn interesting facts about the famous "12 o'clock ringing" rule and the art of brewing behind the wheat beer. You will learn how to "zuzelt" (tear) the Weißwurst traditionally or cut it professionally with cutlery, and you will hear exciting anecdotes about this Bavarian tradition.
The experience is sociable, interactive, and full of enjoyment – perfect for those who want to experience Bavarian culture first hand. At the end, after passing the "exam," you will receive your personal, printed Weißwurst diploma as a souvenir of a special morning in Augsburg. The seminar ends in the tavern, so you can start the day right away or continue exploring the city.
