Explore the former imperial city of Aachen with a 24-hour ticket to the hop-on hop-off bus. Board the bus at any of the 11 stops along the route for 2 hours of sightseeing with commentary from your personal audio guide. Learn about Charlemagne’s history with Aachen and how the Kings of the Germans were crowned here for centuries. Hear about how the city developed into the largest in West Germany and what life is like there today. See historical monuments as modern as the Elisenbrunnen, a 19th-century pavilion, and as old as the Roman thermal baths.
