商品説明
Please kindly recheck the pickup details, meeting point, and session time stated on the voucher for your selected package.
Travel to the world-famous Narcisse Snake Dens, where you'll explore a site home to a rare natural phenomenon where thousands of harmless red-sided garter snakes—the largest concentration of snakes on the planet—overwinter in subterranean limestone crevices. On the way there, you'll travel through Manitoba's unique karst topography and learn about the region's dramatic glacial past, prehistoric oceans, ancient lakes, and recent human history.
After exploring the snake dens, we'll make a secondary stop at the Clematis Wildlife Management Area for a guided hike along the Clarence Tillenius Trail. Here, you'll experience rare alvar habitat—a unique ecosystem of specialized plants that grow directly atop exposed bedrock, shaped by the very same karst geology that makes the snake dens possible.
We'll also make a quick stop in Inwood to visit Sam and Sarah and grab a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before enjoying a smooth, comfortable drive back to Winnipeg.
