Discover the craft of brewing at Big Axe Brewery on a guided tour in New Brunswick. Walk through the facility and follow the full brewing process from grain and hops to brewing, fermentation, and conditioning. Along the way, learn how the brewery creates fresh, carefully brewed beer using specialty malts, various yeast strains, quality ingredients, and pure untreated well water.
Begin on the brewery floor, where your guide introduces each step of production and explains how ingredients shape the final beer. See where the process starts, hear how each batch is brewed to style with close attention to detail, and enjoy time for questions throughout the experience. Depending on the group and discussion, the tour can last up to 60 minutes, making space for a more relaxed and interactive visit.
After the walkthrough, continue upstairs to the taproom, which overlooks the brewery below. Here, finish your visit with a tasting flight of 4 beers. Guests can choose their samples and take in the brewery view from above. After the tasting, you are welcome to stay on and purchase a pint, order food, or browse merchandise at your own expense. The activity finishes in the taproom.
