No diesel fumes or loud noise here! Embark on a lonber, 2 hr sunset harbor cruise experience including live Maritime music in Charlottetown aboard the Isola Solaretto – North America's largest solar-powered boat and the world's first solar-powered dinner cruise boat (lobster/chicken dinner upgrade available). Sit back and relax in social seating in our comfortable booths with large windows, opening roof hatches, large bathroom, room to walk around and see the sights outside.
Learn about Charlottetown & the birthplace of Confederation as we cruise silently along the shoreline. Hear its origin stories around fishing lobster, mussels, oysters, Fort La Joie/Fort Amherst, the Irish Settlers Monument, the Expulsion of the Acadians, play trivia with prizes, get your photo taken steering the boat and more.
Also learn about the history of the solar boat from its beginnings at the famous Montreal Expo (World's Fair) and the 8-year solar-electric re-build & the technology used on the boat including the batteries under the glass floor.

Know Before You Go: This tour takes place based on a minimum of 6 passengers at 5PM/6PM from May 1st to Oct 31st. If we cancel because the 6-passenger minimum is not met, travelers can choose a full refund or reschedule
