Begin your tour with pickup from your hotel in Cape Breton Island. Drive through the Membertou area and see some old houses in town. Then, take the Trans-Canada Highway to the Iona Highland Village.

Upon arrival, explore the village and see buildings from the 1700s and 1800s. Learn about the Scottish people who came here and how they lived and worked. See a school, church, shops, and animals, and learn about Scottish culture.
