Explore Łeba, one of the most popular holiday destinations on the Polish coast. Located at the mouth of the Łeba River, the town is beautifully situated between the lakes of Łebsko and Sarbsko.
Begin your tour with a visit to the ruins of St. Nicholas Church, a Gothic temple from the 14th century. Learn how it was destroyed by powerful storms and buried in sand, with only a fragment of the brick wall remaining today.
Next, visit the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a Baroque temple built in 1683. Admire the historic painting "Our Lady of the Advocate" by Max Pechstein and the 18th-century half-timbered tower.
Continue to the Castle in Łeba (Hotel Neptun), a monumental building constructed in 1906–1907 directly on the seaside dune. Despite its name, the "castle" is a former spa house with a characteristic shape, now serving as a luxury hotel.
Finally, see the oldest house in Łeba, a half-timbered building from the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. Notice the Latin prayer inscription on its facade, a reminder of the town's former residents.
