Island sampler tour with Swinemünde Towards the sunset
A small city tour takes us through Świnoujście, which has a population of around 40,000. Known as a separate urban district and outport of the metropolis of Szczecin, Świnoujście was the third largest German Baltic resort until the end of the Second World War. With its 12-kilometer-long sandy beach and the longest beach promenade in Europe, the city invites you to take a stroll. Bars, restaurants, cafes, and shops line the street. After your approximately 1-hour stay, we will continue to the old fishing village of Kamminke, located on the Szczecin Lagoon. Here, too, you will have the opportunity to explore the old fishing port, which dates back about 200 years. The harbor with the pier and the inner basin, in its current form, was built in 1938 and has since protected the village from the strong southwest storms with high waves and ice. Finally, our journey takes us through small villages with views of the charming Thurbruch area.
