The Wolf's Lair is one of the most significant WWII sites in Europe. Hidden deep in the forests of northeastern Poland, this was Hitler's primary military headquarters for most of the war. Built in 1941 and camouflaged to be invisible from the air, the complex covered over 250 hectares of dense Masurian forest and housed more than 2,000 people at its peak.
