Come and join a daylight snowshoe walk in the beautiful forest surrounding the traditional village of Ylläsjärvi. Leaving right from the village, you will head towards the Boreal Forest and walk on an easy trail leading you to a frozen marshland.
Adventurous people can feel free to make their own track in the deep snow. You will stop at the marsh, make a fire and enjoy a cup of hot drinks and biscuits. This is the perfect opportunity to get to know the nature in Lapland with the guide teaching you about animal tracks and experiment the fun of snowshoe walking in an easy way.

Know Before You Go: Children are welcome to join the safari, though parents should be sure their children can walk the mentioned distance with snowshoes. If the children are eventually not able to walk with snowshoes, the parents should either carry them along or turn back to their accommodation if possible.
Know Before You Go: Transfers from/to holiday accommodations located in Ylläs area are included within max. 15 km distance from the safari house based in Ylläsjärvi.
Know Before You Go: Winter clothing include thermal overall, winter boots, woollen socks, woollen scarf, beanie and gloves.
