Guided Reindeer Farm Visit with 1km Sleigh Ride｜Finland

Your adventure begins at our office in the heart of Sodankylä, where we’ll provide you with all the necessary winter equipment to ensure your comfort. Together with our friendly guide, you’ll then head to a charming local reindeer farm.
Imagine gliding silently through a snow-covered Lappish landscape, wrapped in a cosy wool blanket, as your reindeer caravan leads the way. This one-hour experience is an invitation to step away from the everyday and immerse yourself in one of the world's most magical winter traditions.
This activity begins with a 1 km sleigh ride around the reindeer enclosure – two guests per sleigh, drifting through the crisp Arctic air with nothing but the soft crunch of snow beneath you. A moment of pure, unhurried serenity.
Then comes a rare and tender encounter: your local guide brings you face to face with the reindeer, letting you feed and connect with these gentle, iconic creatures of the North.
To close the experience, follow the glow of a warm fire into a traditional Lappish kota hut. Savour freshly baked buns and steaming hot berry juice while your host weaves captivating tales of reindeer herding – a way of life as old as the Arctic itself.
Then we will transfer back to Sodankyla .
