Are you ready for your first adventure on a snowmobile? This short and easy snowmobile safari is perfect for beginners and offers a chance to get a taste of what snowmobiling is really like. We first get ready with warm clothing, and then we start with driving instructions from the guide. Now, you are ready to embark on the adventure! This is not only a way to try a snowmobiling experience, but also to explore the surroundings of Saariselkä and the Lappish nature. Enjoy this short ride in the Arctic nature and make memories that you will never forget!

  • Not Suitable For: Children under 4 years

  • Not Suitable For: Pregnant women

  • Not Suitable For: People with back problems

  • What To Bring: Driver's license

  • Know Before You Go: The main meeting place is Safartica Office (Lutontie 16), 15 min. before the activity starts. If you require a different pick-up location, please specify it when booking. We will confirm your meeting time by email accordingly.

  • Know Before You Go: Missing the meeting time or location will result in a missed safari, which will not be refunded

  • Know Before You Go: The driving time is approx. 45 minutes. Driving speed will depend on weather conditions and driving skills of the participants

  • Know Before You Go: 2 persons share one snowmobile. A single driving supplement of 55€/person can be purchased in advance.

  • Know Before You Go: Drivers must be 18 or older and hold a valid driving license.

  • Know Before You Go: Not suitable for infants 0-3 years old. Children 4-14 years old are seated in a sledge behind the guide’s snowmobile.

  • Know Before You Go: Not recommended for pregnant women and people with fragile musculoskeletal system.

  • Know Before You Go: The driver is liable for damages up to 990€/accident. An insurance of 20€ lowers the liability to 150€ and can be purchased on the spot before the tour.
