Ruka: 10 km Husky Sled Ride with Snacks and Campfire｜Finland

Arrive at the meeting point at Lammintupa Safari House and hear the dogs barking eagerly, who are ready to start an adventure with you. Receive driving and safety instructions from your guide, then head to the sledges. One of the adults in your party will drive the sled while another is a passenger. You can switch drivers midway.

Curve through the snowy forest, enjoying the beautiful winter scenery. Snow-covered trees and quiet swamps flicker past as your speedy dog team pulls your sled. When the pace levels, focus on enjoying the ride of your life and the surrounding winter wonderland. The ride lasts about 1 hour, depending on the weather.

After the ride, meet the dogs who pulled your sled and pet them. Continue the experience inside a Lappish hut, where you'll be served homemade sweet buns, coffee, and tea. Grill sausages on a campfire, making it a day to remember.
