This is a true aurora hunting tour guided by a professional photographer who's aurora photos and videos have been viewed millions of times on social media!
Starting from Rovaniemi with a flexible start time, we will drive to a location where the weather models have determined that we will have the best chance of seeing the aurora. Whether it’s half an hour away or deep into Swedish Lapland, I want to see the aurora as much as you do so we’ll make sure to get there! With seats only limited to 8 people per night, we have the flexibility to find a quiet place all to ourselves and enjoy the northern lights in a remote area away from the crowds.
Once we have located clear skies and aurora, it’s time to enjoy the show and take document all the magic with multiple high quality mirrorless cameras and astrophotography lenses. With multiple camera's, this allows me to capture as many professional photographs and video of your night under the aurora. If you want to have a try at capturing the aurora yourself, I will help you with all the correct settings for your own DSLR/mirrorless camera or even your smartphone camera. You can even try to capture some photos of the aurora with my Sony a7 iii camera and astrophotography lenses!
If we're lucky and we find a private spot with clear skies, there's even the possibility to set up a small fire in our portable fire pit where we can huddle around for warmth and maybe even a few marshmellows!
All good photos taken on the night, both of yourself and the aurora, are professionally edited and provided to you at full resolution within 2 days of the tour. At full resolution, this means the photos are print quality and immediately ready to become artwork in your home.
The tour has a 300km radius, giving us the ability to get to clear skies on most nights while maintaining safe driving practices. On nights where the chances of seeing aurora are incredibly low or driving conditions are dangerous, the tour will not go ahead and alternative tour dates or refunds will be offered.
In the event we don't get any photos of the northern lights, you can join another tour for free or you'll get a 80% refund (20% covers gas and expenses). With these policies in place, we've been able to see the northern lights on many nights where other operators have cancelled because of difficult looking conditions.

If your package requires a pickup address, the supplier will reconfirm the address you provided. If the address cannot be accepted, we will contact you to confirm an alternative pickup location.

Know Before You Go: Flexible start time based on weather models, please make sure to provide your email and phone number (including country code) so that we can communicate the start time with you on the day. This could be as early as 3pm some days.
Know Before You Go: Tour duration is approximately 4-10 hours since we have a 300km radius. Duration is dependant on how far we have to drive.
Know Before You Go: Alternative tour dates or refunds offered if conditions are not suitable for seeing aurora.
