Venture into the village of Ranua on a photography tour from Rovaniemi. Drive into Ranua Wildlife Park, home to more than 50 different species of Arctic animals, such as polar bears, wolverines, grey wolves, and arctic foxes.
Take a walk around the wildlife park and along the trail and meet many animals that belong to the Arctic area. Focus on photographing these Northern animals and use all the time necessary to capture exquisite pictures of this fascinating wildlife.
As you become enthralled by Arctic nature, listen to detailed and interesting information about the animals and their living environments. Learn, for instance, that reindeer grow a new pair of antlers every year, which constitutes the fastest growing bone on Planet Earth.
Some animals in the park are highly endangered, so also receive information on how you could act to prevent Arctic species from extinction.
