Feel the power of a snowmobile and experience the thrill of riding through the Arctic landscapes of Rovaniemi.

Join us for an exciting snowmobile adventure designed for anyone who wants to experience one of Lapland’s most iconic winter activities. After a safety briefing and introduction to the snowmobiles, we head out with our experienced local guide. Most of the ride takes place on the frozen Kemijoki River, surrounded by the snowy landscapes of Finnish Lapland.

You can choose from three different options depending on how much adventure you are looking for. Our 45-minute Snowmobile Ride is a great way to experience the excitement of snowmobiling as part of a relaxed Arctic experience. Choose the 90-minute Snowmobile Ride if you want more time on the snowmobile and a longer Arctic adventure. For those looking for a more personal experience, our Private Snowmobile Adventure offers the experience exclusively for your own group.

Each snowmobile is normally shared by two guests. Both guests can take turns driving during the ride if they wish, provided they meet the requirements for driving a snowmobile.

The youngest members of the family can also enjoy the snowmobile adventure from the comfort of our warm Shuttle Passenger sleigh, pulled by the guide’s snowmobile. This allows families with small children to experience the Arctic adventure together.

The complete experience lasts approximately three hours, including transfers, preparation, snowmobiling and time around the campfire. While part of the group is out riding, the other guests can relax by the fire and enjoy our tasty Arctic BBQ. The groups then switch, allowing everyone to enjoy both parts of the experience without feeling rushed.

No previous snowmobile experience is required. Before the ride, your guide will explain how to operate the snowmobile and go through the essential safety instructions. The experience is suitable for first-time riders as well as guests who simply want to enjoy the feeling of riding a snowmobile in Lapland.

The standard self-liability for damage to the snowmobile is €1,000. Optional Snowmobile Damage Protection can be purchased for €15 per participant on-site before the ride, reducing the self-liability from €1,000 to €150.

English and Finnish are available throughout the season. From November to March, the experience may also be available in Spanish, French, Italian, Russian, Turkish, Greek, Czech and Slovak, subject to guide availability.

Snowmobiling in Lapland always depends on weather, snow and ice conditions. The exact route may therefore vary to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
