商品説明

To ski peacefully across the unbroken snow in Pyhä-Luosto National Park is arguably the most authentic activity in the whole of Lapland. This is how the locals, including the indigenous Forest Sámi people, have done for the last 7000 years!

It is neither a snowshoe nor a traditional long backcountry ski, but a crossbreed with the best of both worlds. A wide, short, agile ski makes it easy to travel across thick snowfields. No previous skiing experience is required to enjoy gliding across the puffy snowfields. A guide will be happy to instruct you in the correct, fun and safe skiing technique using the ski poles, too. Exploring Arctic forest was never so easy and effortless!

Pyhä-Luosto National Park makes a lovely environment for enjoying wilderness skiing. Follow your guide deeper into the Arctic Taiga forest, feel the soft snow under your wide yet light skis. Enjoy some captivating stories about the Arctic nature shared by your guide.

  • Not Suitable For: Children under 7 years

  • Know Before You Go: Pyhä is located a 1.5-hour drive from Rovaniemi, home to the closest international airport (RVN) and Santa Claus’ headquarters. The comfortable Skibus ride to Hotel Pyhätunturi takes approximately 2 hours

  • Know Before You Go: Please wear suitable personal clothing for winter weather including warm boots, hat and gloves or mittens. Please consider bringing some snacks like nuts or chocolate (caution: keep chocolate in a pocket inside of your jacket, otherwise it will freeze). Complimentary hot berry beverages included
