Join us in celebrating the beauty of the Arctic year. In winter, we begin with the deep stillness of the Lappish Polar Night, the sparkling wonder of Winter Wonderland, and the warmth of the Holiday Spirit—followed by the quiet charm of Mid-Winter and the bright, joyful days of early Spring.
No matter the season, your private farm visit will immerse you in nature, culture, and connection. Stroll our short forest nature trail and discover Finnish folklore and mythology through stories, signs, and small sensory tasks along the way. Meet our huskies, sheep, goats, and other friendly animals. Learn about life on our farm and try your hand at a seasonal handicraft, creating a one-of-a-kind keepsake to take home.
Your program also includes a private husky activity—either family sledding sessions or a husky walk. The husky sledding is mainly designed for children and teenagers (4–17 years), but adults may also try short runs with one or two dogs on our safe, private tracks in the forest. Younger children can enjoy sitting in the sleds. If you choose a husky walk, you’ll learn how to harness your dog and then explore the forest paths together, attached with a special belt and leash, feeling the strength and energy of your new four-legged friend. You can even combine sledding and walking for a varied experience. All husky activities include full instruction and assistance from your host.
Between activities, we invite you into our small Kammi hut for a shamanic experience. Around the fire, you can try Lappish drums and singing bowls, focusing on your senses in the quiet magic of the forest. Indoors—either in the main house or our cosy Kota hut—we’ll warm up by the fire and work on seasonal crafts.
At the end of your visit, we’ll share food and warmth together. Your private program includes a warm drink and snack by the fire. You can also choose to add lunch for an extra fee: a hearty soup served with bread, made from local and ecological ingredients right here on the farm. Select in advance between reindeer, local fish, or vegetable soup.
Each season brings its own special atmosphere—whether it’s the soft torchlight of the Polar Night, the glow of candles when the sun rests, the crackle of campfires, or the gentle sound of bells and drums carrying the wisdom of our ancestors. The farm changes with the seasons, but it is always inviting, always magical.
